two amazingly vivid dreams

I had two different really strange dreams last night.

The first one started with me was running on this long, narrow and gray platform. I ended up sprinting and jumping off of a building, knowing that i was going to fall but wanted to fly; I knowsounds really weird but that's what was going through my head, I remember thinking in my head like "holy stroganoff, this is suicidal", but the feeling was awesome. And I was falling/flying down, without flailing, just flying, when a person that I couldn't see could only feel came out of nowhere, grabbed me around my torso, and helped me fly down to the ground and land smoothly. Once I landed, I turned around to say something to whoever had helped me and there was no one there. I remember was really eerie but happy (obviously those two don't go hand-in-hand). And then I woke up around 3:30.

And in my second one, I was dreaming I was a mortician/forensic person at the morgue and I could touch people's heads and see their last thoughts and images that they saw; I knew in my dream I was the only person who could do this and didn't want to tell anyone. When I did this, it didn't show the people's bodies; like if they were in an accident, I could only see their faces and only touched their foreheads and over their eyes, and I only saw exciting and happy things. I have zero clue what these could possibly mean or relate to my life.

up to

another monday.....

i'll start off with something entertaining:

this picture was taken on my way home from the lake of the ozarks in missouri.

eat here, get worms?? not really a worthwhile trade-off, i'd say.

what i have been up to: researching things for my poppa's website (goal is by the very latest to complete it by the end of august... so far i have made zero progress, woo), organizing and scanning old pics for molly/matt's video for their wedding and for the guestbook (wedding's in october), getting things (as the maid of honor) in order for molly's wedding, reserving and getting organized for molly's bachelorette party in september, working two part-time jobs (everyday), enjoying my summer and my break away from school.  i will update again when i have new artwork to show... only thing's i've created this summer are a couple of paintings that i gave to friends as house/apartment-warming gifts.

another photo to leave behind of my lovely ole missouri:

gradumacated and whatnot

in early may, i graduated with a bachelors of science in arts technology.  i would like to follow it into the graphic/web design and new media world.  shortly after that, i turned the ripe age of twenty-two... three years away from being twenty-five, a quarter of a century [oh dear].

currently, i am in champaign, working two part-time jobs (soon to be three, hopefully) and am interested in full-time hire.  as many know, two part-time jobs do not equal a full-time, ha!  so i am scoping out champaign-urbana for potential jobs to kick-start my career, while looking nation-wide as well.  please let me know if anyone you may know is looking for a fresh college grad in design!!!

thanks and have a lovely day, ciao :)
